François Mazabraud

The work of François Mazabraud encompasses a broad spectrum of performances where the abundance of forms is the image of the multiplicity of his concerns. This polymorphic production meets the sharp eye that carries this artist on his period and on an environment of which he transforms the space in field of investigation and the material in experimentation support. François Mazabraud built objects, invents surfaces, stages masses and raw materials, takes advantage of a meeting or a place, creates parasite systems, acts in public space; he sees the funny side of successive reality layers and injects, in small doses, fiction in the heart of a normality that sublime and denounce.
